Beginning this week, we will reveal one selection at a time each weekday over a five-week stretch. Today, we highlight your No. 21 pick for the top student-athlete of the past 20 years, women's soccer player Chelsee Washington!

Originally from Dallas, Texas, Chelsee Washington has a knack for making history.

Washington joined her teammate, Maureen Kennedy, as being the only Falcons to ever be named to the all-region team twice. Additionally, she was awarded MAC Offensive Player of the Year in 2019, BGSU women's soccer's team Player of the Year, and was named to the USC Scholar All-America Third Team, which made her the first scholar All-American in program history. To top it off, she was named to the USC All-Midwest Region First Team, making her the second player in team history to earn all-region first team accolades.

Washington was the team leader in points with 25 and assists with nine. She also sported a pair of game-winning goals during the 2019 campaign, which ended with the second MAC Championship in as many years for the Falcons. She was also named to the All-MAC First Team in 2018, while also being named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Midwest Region Second Team and Academic All-MAC Team. This came after having 27 points on nine goals and nine assists, ranking her second, second, and third on the team, respectively.

On January 16, 2020, Washington was selected by the Orlando Pride in the NWSL 2020 Draft, making her the first player in program history to be drafted. She was the third pick of the fourth round (30th selection overall).
