Falcons Prepare For CCHA Home Opener

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio. – The Bowling Green Falcons hockey team (3-1-2, 1-1-0) will open the home portion of the 2021-22 CCHA campaign with a series against the St. Thomas Tommies (1-9-0, 1-5-0), with games on Friday, Nov. 5, and Saturday, Nov. 6. Puck drop for both games is 7:07 p.m.

Tickets, Parking, and Attendance Guidelines
Tickets for Friday's game are available for digital purchase HERE. Tickets for Saturday's game are available for digital purchase HERE. Tickets are free for active duty Military, Veterans, EMS, Police, and First Responders. Parking is available for $10 at Slater Family Ice Arena and Perry Field House. Regardless of vaccination status, all guests, staff, and vendors will be required to wear a face covering while in Slater Family Ice Arena. Fans are not required to show proof of vaccination to enter Slater Family Ice Arena, but face coverings – covering the nose and mouth – are required for all fans as they watch the game from their assigned seat and enter, exit, and move around. Children 2 and younger will not be required to wear a face covering. If spectators are unable to wear face coverings, they are encouraged not to attend games in-person for the sake of their health and the health of others.

- Entering the weekend, Austen Swankler leads the team in points (seven) and plus-minus (+4). He is also tied with fellow freshman Eric Parker for the team lead in assists (four).
- The Falcons split last weekend's series against #17 Bemidji State behind stellar goaltender play from Zack Rose and Christian Stoever. On Friday, Rose made a career-high 38 saves as the Falcons won, 3-2. Stoever made his collegiate debut on Saturday, notching a .931 save percentage in a 2-1 loss.
- In the series finale, Bowling Green recorded a season-best 41 shots on goal, with Austen Swankler tallying an unassisted score in the third period.
