Falcons Return to Action on Sunday in MACtion Meet at Kent State

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -Â The Bowling Green gymnastics team (1-8, 1-3 MAC) returns to MACtion on Sunday when they travel to Kent State to face the Golden Flashes (9-2, 2-0 MAC) at Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center. The event starts at 1 p.m.

Bowling Green is looking to win its second meet in a row. Most recently, the Falcons won at Ball State in its first win of the year. Taylor Jensen and Katrina Mendez Abolnik tied for the all-around win.

Kent State is 9-2 on the season and 2-0 in conference competition. KSU is coming off two wins and one loss last weekend at the Rutgers Quad Meet. The Golden Flashes got the better of Rutgers and Ursinus, while losing to Iowa. KSU is ranked No. 29 in the nation coming into the week.
 Bowling Green is 13-52-1 all-time against Kent State State. The Golden Flashes have won seven-straight meetings over the Falcons. BGSU last win was in 2015 at Anderson Arena.
Next Up:Â Bowling Green is next in action on Sun., Feb. 26 when the Flacons return home for Senior Day and a tri-meet when Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan come to Anderson Arena. The EMU match is a MAC competition, while WMU is competing as a non-conference opponent.Â
