Bowling Green Concludes Regular Season on Thursday at No. 25 Illinois

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green gymnastics team (2-12, 2-4 MAC) returns to action on Thursday night in the Falcons' final regular season tune-up before MAC Championships. BGSU travels to Big-Ten foe No. 25 Illinois for a dual meet. The event between state schools will take place at Huff Hall with the first rotation starting at 8 p.m.

Bowling Green is coming off its best team score since 2018 last week in a tri-meet in Columbus with Ohio State and Kent State. Taylor Jensen won her third all-around of the season, tying her career high with an overall score of 39.350. The score is also tied for the eighth-best in program history.

Illinois is 4-3 on the season. UI is coming off a home quad-meet win over Central Michigan, Boise State and NIU. Bowling Green is 3-6 all-time against the Illini. BGSU's last win in the series came in 2004 at a Ball State tri-meet. BGSU is facing Illinois for the first time since 2018.

Next Up: Bowling Green is next in action on Sat., March 19 when the Falcons head to the MAC Championship, hosted by Eastern Michigan. The event is set for 2 p.m.
