Bowling Green Sweeps Through Slippery Rock on Saturday Afternoon, 7-0

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons start the weekend in Youngstown with a solid 7-0 against Slippery Rock at the YSU Indoor Center on Saturday afternoon.
BGSU opened the match taking the doubles point. With doubles tied, 1-1, the No. 2 doubles team of Isabella Baker and Leticia Fonseca secured the doubles win, 6-3.
The Falcons quickly won No. 1 and No. 5 singles behind Lucy Furness (No. 1) and Tia Clemens (No. 5) to make it 3-0 BGSU. The Falcons clinched the match at No. 2 singles when Hannah Neuman disposed of Gabriela del Val del Toro, 6-0, 4-6, 6-1.
