Bowling Green Gymnastics Hosts Quad-Meet on Sunday for Senior Day

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green gymnastics team concludes its home meet slate on Sunday when Eastern Michigan, Fisk and West Virginia come to the Stroh Center for Senior Day. The meet starts at 2 p.m.

• It is Senior Day and Meserve Cup.
• Bowling Green will honor seniors Lauren Bannister, Sydney Bennett, Megan Decious, Courtney Morrison and Sarina Ross following the meet.
ADMISSION AND ATTENDANCE GUIDELINES
• Admission for Sunday's meet is $5. Gates open at 1 p.m.
• Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets ahead of time online. Cost on site for tickets is $7.
• The concession stand will open at 1 p.m.
• All parking lots surrounding the Stroh Center are free of charge
• All bags will be checked upon entrance into the Stroh Center. No outside food or drink will be allowed.

• Bowling Green is ranked No. 57 in the nation per Road to Nationals. Eastern Michigan is No. 43, West Virginia comes in at 52. Fisk is ranked No. 65
• Bowling Green is ranked No. 54 on vault, No. 55 on beam, No. 56 on bars and No. 63 on floor.

• BGSU is 29-27 all-time against EMU. BGSU's last win was the meeting in 2022, a 194.875-190.175 win at Anderson Arena. The win snapped a four-meet winning streak for EMU.
• BGSU is 5-10 all-time against West Virginia. The Mountaineers have won nine-straight meetings over the Falcons. BGSU last win was in 1984 in Bowling Green. BGSU won five of the first six meetings with WVU, in a series that started in 1977.
• BGSU is 1-0 all-time against Fisk. They met in a five-team meet at George Washington in 2023.
EASTERN MICHIGAN
• Eastern Michigan is 3-4 on the year and coming off a MAC loss to Western Michigan on Feb. 2.
FISK
• Fisk is 2-6 and coming off a third-place finish last week at Auburn. Fisk finished behind Auburn and Temple, while placing ahead of Talladega.
WEST VIRGINIA
• West Virginia is 3-4 on the year and coming off a loss on Feb. 2 at BYU.
LAST WEEK
• BGSU placed second in its own tri-meet last Sunday. The Falcons topped UW-Oshkosh and finished behind Central Michigan.
• The Falcons started out the meet with its second-best team score of the season on vault with a 48.800 and finished strong with its best floor routine of the season with a 48.800.
• Emily Castiglia tied her PR with a 9.825 on beam.
• Love Akpan set a PR on floor with a 9.825.
