Bowling Green set to compete in the Raleigh Relays hosted by NC State and the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational hosted by Cincinnati
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Track and Field team will split this weekend to compete at the Raleigh Relays and the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational. The Raleigh Relays, hosted by NC State, will start on Thursday, March 28 and will run through Saturday, March 30. The Oliver Nikoloff Invitational, hosted by University of Cincinnati, will run through Friday, March 29 - Saturday, March 30.

Breaking Down Bowling Green
The field athletes competed last weekend at the Blizzard Buster, hosted by Miami (Ohio). Mateya Haintz saw the highest placement of the day, finishing first in the hammer throw with a 195' 0" mark. Haintz recorded her third best performance, she holds the fourth all-time record in the hammer throw at BGSU (197.1) which she recorded in 2023. Reagan Emberton placed eighth (145' 1") and Grace Bradtmueller placed 14th recording a personal best (132' 7"). Ava Wojciehowski made her outdoor debut, placing 22nd in the hammer throw (104' 2").
Freshmen Payton Logan made her outdoor debut in the javelin, placing sixth with a 89' 0" mark. Lane Anderson placed third in the shot put with a 43' 3" mark.
The Falcons flew around the score sheet for discus. Reagan Emberton lead the pack, placing sixth with a 135' 0" mark and Grace Bradtmueller placed ninth with a 120' 7" finish. Freshmen, Ava Wojciechowski placed 14th (112' 2") and Payton Logan placed 21st with a 88' 8 mark.
This weekend will mark the first outdoor competition for the track athletes, of the season.
