Falcons Host Tri-Meet on Sunday Afternoon at the Stroh Center

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green gymnastics team returns to action on Sunday afternoon when the Falcons host its first home meet of the season. BGSU welcomes SE Missouri State and Central Michigan to the Stroh Center. The tri-meet begins at 2 p.m.

• First 100 fans will receive "BG" embroidered Pit Viper sunglasses.
ADMISSION AND ATTENDANCE GUIDELINES
• Admission for Sunday's meet is $6. Gates open at 1 p.m.
• Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets ahead of time online.
• The concession stand will open at 1 p.m.
• All parking lots surrounding the Stroh Center are free of charge
• All bags will be checked upon entrance into the Stroh Center. No outside food or drink will be allowed.
IN THE RANKINGS
• Bowling Green is ranked No. 61 in the nation per Road to Nationals. Central Michigan comes in at No. 49. SE Missouri State is ranked No. 63.
• Bowling Green is ranked No. 48 on vault, No. 54 on floor, No. 66 on bars and No. 68 on beam
• Central Michigan is No. 37 on floor, No. 41 on bars, No. 58 on vault and No. 62 on beam.

ALL-TIME SERIES
• BGSU has dropped nine in a row to CMU and the all-time record against the Chippewas stands 42-16 in favor of CMU. BGSU's last win against CMU was in 2018 at Anderson Arena. • Central Michigan Chippewas took the first meeting in 2025 last week in Mount Pleasant. BGSU also will face CMU in Illinois State's quad-meet on Feb. 28.
• BGSU is 6-3 all-time against SE Missouri State and 2-0 at home. BGSU last faced SE Missouri State in 2020 before the season was shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. BGSU. The meeting was part of a Ball State quad-meet that the Falcons finished second in.
CENTAL MICHIGAN
• Central Michigan is 2-1 on the season with a loss coming at Minnesota in the season opener. CMU has wins over West Virginia and Bowling Green.
SE MISSOURI STATE
• SEMO is 4-6 on the season and coming off a 2-0 sweep at the Texas Woman's tri-meet in Denton, Texas on Jan. 17. SEMO is 0-2 against the MAC in 2025 with both setbacks coming against Ball State in quad-meets (at Missouri and at Ball State).
LAST WEEK
• BGSU fell in a MAC meet against Central Michigan on Friday, Jan. 17.
• Megan Bingham won her first All-Around with a 38.425. It was just the second time in her career she competed as an all-around.
• First-year Kayla Shaw posted PRs on vault (9.750) and floor (9.800) against CMU.
• Madison Coburn had a season high on floor with a 9.700.
• Elise Brzoska had a season high on beam with a 9.500.
• Katrina Mendez Abolnik returned to action as a vault exhibition after missing all of 2024 with an injury. She last appeared in the 2023 NCAA Regionals on vault.
