Falcons Bound for Kent's Doug Raymond Invite
February 05, 2026 | Women's Track and Field
KENT, Ohio – The Bowling Green track and field program heads east this weekend, traveling to Kent State for the two-day Doug Raymond Invitational at the Kent State Field House. Friday's action begins at noon, with competition resuming Saturday morning.
The Falcons arrive in Kent riding momentum after a strong showing at the Meyo Invitational at Notre Dame, where Bowling Green set three school records and logged a collection of personal bests across the sprints, distance events and field disciplines.
Friday's schedule features the bulk of the field events and preliminary rounds on the track. Bowling Green is slated to compete in the throws, horizontal jumps and select sprint and mid-distance events throughout opening day.
Saturday will showcase finals on the track along with remaining field events, including the vertical jumps and distance races.
The Doug Raymond Invitational offers the Falcons another measuring stick against regional competition as they focus on consistency, execution and continued progression as the MAC Indoor Championship draw closer.
