Stacy Kosciak was elevated to Deputy Athletics Director in March of 2022 and adds administrative oversight on football, marketing and brand enhancement and strategic communications to her portfolio that already includes academics, compliance, volleyball and women’s basketball.Â
Kosciak came to BGSU in February of 2020 as a senior associate athletics director, senior woman's administrator and Title IX coordinator from from UNC Greensboro, where she spent more than 20 years in coaching and ever-increasing administrator roles.
"I am extremely grateful for this opportunity to work with Bob Moosbrugger and to be a member of the BGSU family," Kosciak said upon her hire. "They are truly committed to the academic achievement, athletic success and the overall experience of their student-athletes."
Kosciak was most recently the Deputy Athletics Director at UNC Greensboro, a title she has held since 2017. Prior to that she was a Senior Associate Athletics Director after being promoted from Associate Athletics Director and Assistant Athletics Director. Kosciak began her time in administration in 2005 as a Special Assistant to the Director of Athletics.

Kosciak spent two years as an assistant volleyball coach at UNC Greensboro before earning the head coaching job in 2000. She remained as the head volleyball coach until 2004, when she transitioned into administration.

In her role at UNC Greensboro, Kosciak is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the athletics department, which includes serving as a member of the Athletics Department Leadership Team and as sport administrator for men's basketball, women's basketball and volleyball. She also oversees facilities and game operations, as well as human resources. In previous roles at the University, Kosciak oversaw alumni relations and donor cultivation, as well as all recognition events and championships.

Kosciak has served on the Southern Conference sport committees for track & field and volleyball, and was involved in the NCAA Pathways program in 2018-19. In 2015, she took part in the executive institute for Women Leaders in College Sport.

Kosciak earned her bachelor's degree in exercise and sports science from UNC Greensboro in 1996 and her master's degree in sports studies from High Point in 2009.
