Cooper Pool
The Home of the Falcon swimmers, Cooper Pool received a face lift in the summer of 2001. Included in the upgrades were: Retiling of the deck, installations of five windows, and air-conditioning installed throughout the student recreation center.
Cooper doubles as the home site for the Falcons Intercollegiate women's swimming team and the Bowling Green Swim Club age group team. The pool is 50 meters long by 25 yards wide and contains 22 lanes with depths ranging from four to 17 feet. Diving stations with one and three-meter spring boards are utilized for instruction, recreation, and competition. Five-and-seven and one-half meter diving towers are utilized for competition.
It is a popular spot for recreational lap swimming, water basketball, water polo and water aerobics. It is also utilized for instruction by the School of HMSLS.
