Falcon Hockey Schedule For 1999-2000 Announced

Bowling Green State University Athletic Director Paul Krebs has announced the Falcon hockey schedule for the 1999-2000 season. BG will play a total of 35 games next season, including 17 at home (both totals include the exhibition contest against Toronto). All Falcon home games will begin at 7:35 p.m. this season.
The Brown and Orange will open its 31st intercollegiate varsity season on Oct. 9 against the University of Toronto at the BGSU Ice Arena. Also included among the Falcons' seven non-conference contests are games against Northeastern University, Boston College and Alabama-Huntsville (2). BG will take part in the Marine Midland Tournament in Troy, New York, over the Christmas break. Other tournament participants are Union, Providence and Rensselaer.
The Falcons will play a total of 28 Central Collegiate Hockey Association games in 1999-2000 with the addition of the University of Nebraska-Omaha as the 12th member. BG will open its conference slate Oct. 22-23 at Western Michigan. BG's complete schedule is listed below.
