BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) - Cory Ryan came off the bench to score 18 points as Bowling Green took a 31-point halftime lead and went on to beat Defiance 107-80 Saturday.
Ryan was one of five Falcons (3-1) in double figures. He was 6-of-9 from the field, including 6-of-7 3-pointers.
Brandon Pardon scored 16 points and made all four of his 3-point attempts, Len Matela made all five of his shots and finished with 13 points and Keith McLeod and Kevin Netter scored 12 points apiece for Bowling Green.
The Falcons shot 62 percent from the field, 37-of-60, and made 12-of-16 3-points attempts.
Chris Fidler scored 16 points to lead three players in double figures for Defiance (3-1). He was 7-of-9 from the field.
Brian Brenner had 13 points and Eric Viney scored 12 for Defiance.
