Falcons Remain First After Day Two

Bowling Green had another successful day at the Notre Dame Invitational held in South Bend, Ind., to remain in first place. The Falcons captured the 200 medley relay while freshman Caroline Keating won the 200 free in day two of the 16-team invitational.
Keating turned in a time of 1:53.41 to win the 200 free. It was her second win in two days as she won the 500 free on Thursday.
The 200 medley relay team won with a time of 1:48.09. The relay team consisted of freshman Brittany O'Connor, sophomore Kara Ohngren, Schultz and sophomore Stephanie Buckner.
BGSU's 800 free relay placed fourth (7:49.32) while Schultz was runner-up in the 100 butterfly with a time of 56.99. Junior Amy Smith was sixth in a time of 58.81.
The three-day, 16-team Notre Dame Invitational concludes on Saturday, Dec. 6.
