SOUTH BEND, Indiana - Bowling Green stands in third place out of 13 teams going into the last meet of the Notre Dame Invitational. The Falcons, with a score of 853, are behind Denver (1,023.5) and Truman State (1,154).
Individuals leading the Falcons thus far are Kara Ohngren with a sixth place finish in the 400 yard IM (4:35.51) and Dana Schultz with a first place finish in the 100 yard butterfly (56.65).
Jessica Guinness and Caroline Keating placed fifth and sixth in the 200 yard freestyle. Guinness finished with a time of 1:54.30 and Keating not far behind with a time of 1:55.28.
The 800 yard free relay team of Jennifer Wright, Jessica Guinness, Caroline Keating, and Dana Schultz finished in third (7:44.31), while the 200 yard medley relay team of Tina Sestan, Christina Vaca, Dana Schultz, and Stephanie Buckner finished sixth (1:49.48).
The Falcons will conclude the Notre Dame Invitational on Saturday Dec. 4 with preliminaries at 10 a.m. and finals at 6:30 p.m.
