AMHERST, N.Y. (AP) - B.J. Lane ran for a career-high 141 yards and three touchdowns as Bowling Green defeated Buffalo 27-7 Saturday.
Lane scored on runs of 32, 20 and two yards, and Omar Jacobs connected with Steve Sanders for a 5-yard scoring pass for Bowling Green (4-2, 3-0 Mid-American Conference).
Buffalo (0-6, 0-3 MAC) intercepted Jacobs twice. He finished with 187 yards passing, completing 18 of 34 attempts.
Buffalo freshman Phillip Warren ran for 92 yards on 17 carries and scored on a 6-yard run in the second quarter.
Bowling Green led 14-7 at halftime.
Buffalo's Drew Willy completed 10 of 22 attempts for 113 yards and two interceptions.
Bowling Green rolled up 387 yards of offense, while Buffalo had 311.
