Swiger Named MAC East Player of the Week

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Sophomore Stephanie Swiger led the Falcons to a 1-1 record in two MAC road matches last week. In the pivotal win at Miami on Nov. 3, Swiger hammered 15 kills and compiled a .433 hitting percentage. Swiger also contributed defensively in the victory, recording four blocks. The Findlay, Ohio native also assisted on four Falcon points. In the loss at Western Michigan on Nov. 5, Swiger continued her impressive week, hitting .391 with 12 kills. Defensively, she racked up seven blocks in the outing. For the week, Swiger averaged 1.38 blocks per game and 3.38 kills per contest while hitting a lofty .415.
