BGSU Swim Finishes Atop Three Relays at the Tom Stubbs

BOWING GREEN, Ohio - The Swimming and Diving Falcons recorded top three finishes in nine of ten relays as they hosted the Tom Stubbs Relays at Cooper Pool on the campus of Bowling Green State University.
The Falcons edged out Mid-American Conference foes Eastern Michigan and Akron and in-state competitors Youngstown State in the 300 Back, 200 Medley and 400 Medley relays. The Falcons largest margin of victory came as they finished the 400 Medley in 4:09.10 and the second place University of Akron finished at 4:12.52.
Bowling Green picked up second place finishes in the 400 Free (3:40.21) and 300 Fly (2:59.68).
The lone race in which BGSU finished fourth was the last race of the night. The Orange and Browns finished the 400 Medley in 4:06.50, behind a duo of Akron teams and an Eastern Michigan relay team.
The Falcons will open their season on October 21 at the University of Cincinnati.
