Falcons Ready for Big MAC Series Against Toledo

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University baseball team begins a three-game weekend series against the arch-rival Toledo Rockets on Friday, April 14th at 3 PM inside Warren Steller Field.
Rockets in Town
The Falcons lead the all-time series over Toledo 103-79, including a four-game sweep over the Rockets last season in which the Brown and Orange outscored UT 53-15. Senior Tyler Wasserman batted .538 against Toledo in 2005 while Junior Kurt Wells tallied five RBI in just two starts. Junior Alan Brech allowed just two runs in 6.0 innings in his win at Toledo a year ago.

The top of the Mid-American Conference standings is very crowded as of April 14th. Over half the conference (7 of 12 teams) are either tied for the lead or just one game back. The Falcons at 5-4 are one game back from Kent State (6-3) in the East Division. The I-75 Rival Toledo Rockets also own a 5-4 record and visit Bowling Green for a big three-game weekend series beginning on April 14th.
