BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - With nine conference games to go, Bowling Green sits at 9-9 and would be the final team to make the MAC tournament if the season were to end today. The Falcons welcome MAC-leading Kent State (29-15, 13-5 MAC) to Warren Steller Field for a three-game series which has large post-season implications.

Trifecta on the Mound
It may have taken awhile for the Falcon pitching rotation to shake out, but now that its set, things look good for BGSU down the stretch. All three starters' conference ERA's are among the seven lowest in the MAC. Freshman Marty Baird (1.69 ERA) and Brian Hangbers (1.71) are slotted second and third while Junior Alan Brech's 2.66 ERA is good for seventh best in the conference. Hangbers holds opponent's to a league-low .194 batting average during MAC contests.
