Van De Walle to Coach USA Sitting Volleyball Team at World Championships

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - BGSU Head Coach Denise Van De Walle is heading to the Netherlands to serve as the assistant coach for USA Women's Sitting Team at the World Championships.

"I'm really lookin forward to this tournament. The opportunity to compete internationally is just what we need," Van De Walle said, "The last time we were in the Netherlands we didn't do so well. This time will be different. We're ready!"

Team USA will begin play on Monday, June 19 with a match against Ukraine, followed by a June 20 match against Brazil. The United States will then conclude pool play on Wednesday, June 21 against the Netherlands.

The championship round gets underway on Thursday, June 22. The bronze and gold-medal matches are scheduled for Saturday, June 24.
