Bowling Green, Ohio--The Bowling Green State University men's basketball program took a day off from the hardwood and preseason workouts to give back as part of the Day of Caring program with the United Way of Wood County.
Players and coaches alike made several new friends today and spent time with children and adults with developmental disabilities at Wood Lane in Bowling Green.
The group toured the facility and signed autographs, played volleyball at the BG Community Center, volunteered at Wood Lane School, helped with day activities at Wood Lane Industries, and played horseshoes at the BG City Park with older adults associated with the program.
