The Bowling Green, Ohio native is an early childhood education major with a 3.82 GPA. Meek is currently ranked 25th in the nation and second in the MAC in digs compiling a team high 534 digs averaging 4.99 digs per set this season thus far. She has led the Falcon defense in every match with 10 matches of 20-plus digs this season.
Meek has been a consistent force for the Falcon defense in her career as she set all new dig records for BG last season becoming the best digger in program history. She is only the second player in history to hold all three dig records, career digs (2,158), digs in a season (629), digs per set in a season (5.62 digs per set).
Meek has not only led the Falcons but has been in the top of the MAC throughout her career. Meek is closing in on the MAC record for career digs (2,273) held by Stephanie Keller of Ball State. Meek is currently ranked fourth in the all-time MAC record books only 115 digs shy of tying the record.
Meek success in the Falcon back-court over the past three seasons has reached the national level as she has amassed 84 consecutive matches of 10-plus digs in her career holding the all-time record in the nation also leading all active players.
Meek is no stranger to success on the court or in the classroom as she was named to three All-Tournament teams, Co-MAC East Player of the Week and MAC Scholar Athlete of the Week all this season alone.
