Bowling Green hockey veteran Brian Moore has given his opponents big hits on the ice and has given new hope to the underpriviliged of distant countries. Moore, a senior defenseman for the Falcon hockey team, encapsulates much of what one would want to see in a classy person and a true student-athlete. He sits down with BGSUFALCONS.com to tell the tale of his mission work in Columbia and Haiti and well as a little bit more about the man behind the mask.

• Has played in four games this season, and 46 total games as a BGSU Falcon.
• In 2008-09, played in 27 games, including 19 of the last 20 of the season.
• Finished with an even or positive on-ice rating in 20 of his 27 contests in 2008-09.
• Was nominated for the 2008-09 Hockey Humanitarian Award and the CCHA's Illitch Award after his 2008 mission work in Haiti
