BGSU Baseball Game Friday With Ball State Cancelled

BOWLING GREEN, OHIO - The Bowling Green State University baseball game Friday afternoon at Steller Field against Ball State was cancelled because of rain and the two Mid-American Conference programs will play a doubleheader Saturday beginning at noon.

Prior to the first game Saturday, a special presentation will take place to honor BGSU head coach Danny Schmitz on his 500th coaching victory. The Falcons earned Schmitz his 500th victory with an 8-3 win at Michigan on March 31. Schmitz is just the fifth coach in the 63-year history of the conference to reach the milestone.
