BOWLING GREEN, OHIO - The Bowling Green State University baseball game scheduled for today (April 15) at Oakland University has been cancelled because of rain/wet grounds.
The Falcons will return to action this weekend when they battle Kent State, the East Division leader. The three-game series will be played at Kent with games scheduled for Friday (3 p.m.), Saturday (1 p.m.) and Sunday (noon).
Kent State leads the East Division with a 9-2 record while Ohio is 9-3 and BGSU is third at 7-4. Bowling Green and Kent State shared the Mid-American Conference East Division and regular season titles last season.
