Time to Go to Work; Hockey Practices For First Time This Season

BGSU Hockey hits the ice only hours after it is declared operational for captain's practice.
Bowling Green hockey had been waiting for the moment that ice was returned to the BGSU Ice Arena to conduct their first captain's practice. That moment came Monday and the team wasted no time to lace up their skates when they received word that a new sheet of ice was operational.
The Falcons took to the ice for an hour engaging in simple one-on-one and possession drills just to warm up their legs prior to their first action set for Sunday, Oct. 3 when the Brown and Orange play Wilfrid Laurier University in an exhibition match at 4 p.m. at the BGSU Ice Arena. Now that the main sheet of ice has been laid, BGSUFalcons.com has opened the doors the rest of the BGSU Ice Arena to take a small tour of the renovation project inside the rink since April. Each video below gives a brief tour of a different area to show the progress being made in Phase One of the renovation project.
