Bergeron Opens Tournament Play with Weekly Press Conference

Head coach Chris Bergeron sits down with the media on Tuesday afternoon.
Everybody is undefeated entering the playoffs. We are 0-0-0.
That is the mentality that head coach Chris Bergeron is taking into this weekend's first round of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) Tournament. He spoke with the local media earlier today about the mental preparation that will go into getting ready for this weekend's series with the Northern Michigan Wildcats. He also touched on the overall match up between these two teams, that have met four times already this season.
Among other topics Bergeron spoke on included the team's recent play against Michigan State, the goaltending situation for this weekend's games and captain David Solway's health and availability to play.
Bowling Green (ranked 11th in the conference) will play the sixth-seed Northern Michigan Wildcats in the opening round. The series will begin this Friday, March 4 at the Berry Events Center (Marquette, Mich.). The series will continue with game two on Saturday and game three (if necessary) on Sunday. All three games will begin at 7:35 p.m. ET.
