MAC Season Finale in Buffalo Altered

With weather conditions contributing to poor playing surfaces, the series will be played on Friday and Saturday only.
The schedule for this weekend's BGSU/Buffalo series has been altered due to weather contributing toward poor playing conditions at Amherst Audubon Field (Buffalo, N.Y.).
The Falcons and Bulls will not play on Thursday afternoon, as scheduled, and instead play a doubleheader on Friday and finish the regular season slate on Saturday. The first pitch for the first game on Friday is set for 1 p.m. with game two beginning approximately one half hour after game one's conclusion. Saturday's game will begin at 1 p.m. as originally planned.
Bowling Green currently has a 1.5 game lead over the Ohio Bobcats for the third place spot in the East Division of the Mid-American Conference (MAC). With a win or an Ohio loss, the Falcons clinch a spot in the conference tournament in Chillicothe, Ohio next week. If the season ended today, BGSU would be the eighth-seeded team in the tournament. They trail Western Michigan by one game for the seventh spot in the tournament seeding. Western Michigan hosts Northern Illinois this weekend.
