BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- The Bowling Green State University ice hockey team arrived home from Fairbanks, Alaska late Sunday afternoon, taking four points from the Nanooks in a two-game set. Junior Andrew Wallace was nice enough to film the journey, documenting the entire travel process.
After a 3-2 win Friday night, the Falcons battled to a 3-3 tie with the Nanooks in the second game of their series. Cam Wojtala, Mark Cooper and Adam Berkle scored for Bowling Green, while Andrew Hammond turned away a season-high 41 shots. Immediately following the game, the Falcons started their long journey back home.
