Falcons Continue Road Swing; Visit Missouri

The Bowling Green State University gymnastics team will hit the road to face the Missouri Tigers on Fri., Feb. 24 at 6:30 p.m. It is the second of four straight meets for the Orange and Brown on the road before returning home on Mar. 17.

The Falcons are coming off a 194.050-192.325 loss at Pittsburgh to open up the month long road trip. The top BGSU highlight of the meet was freshman Jamilah Ali, who finished first on vault (9.775) and beam (9.800) and fourth on floor (9.775). It was the third time the first-year Falcon has won the vault and was her fourth individual crown on beam.

Missouri, the No. 17 team in the country, is averaging 195.211 on the season and is coming off a season-best 196.375 in a loss to No. 3 Oklahoma. Freshman Rachel Updike was named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week, her sixth weekly award of the season.
