Falcons Return to MAC Play With Trip to Ball State

After a two week layoff from conference action, the Bowling Green State University gymnastics team returns to MAC action on Friday, Mar. 2 as they travel to Muncie, Ind. to face the Ball State Cardinals. The dual meet is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
The Falcons are entering their third straight week on the road and will not return home again until Mar. 17, but seem to be hitting all strides after posting a season-high road score this past weekend at Missouri (193.825). Sophomore Megan Harrington posted career-bests in the all-around (38.750), vault (9.575), bars (9.650) and beam (9.800) and ranks fourth in the MAC in the all-around.
A pair of freshman stepped up for the Orange and Brown as well, led by Jamilah Ali, who scored a 9.800 (vault), 9.800 (beam) and 9.775 (floor) and Amanda Lievendag, who scored a pair of 9.725's on vault and bars, both career-bests.
Ball State is coming off a 194.225-191.600 loss to Western Michigan last Sunday. BSU's Nicole Allen won her third consecutive all-around crown, scoring a 39.000 in the loss to the Broncos.
