Ice Hockey Adds Another To The Freshman Class Of 2012-13

The Bowling Green State University ice hockey team has announced the signing of one additional student-athlete for 2012-13. Bowling Green welcomes Brent Tate to the Falcon hockey family.

Height: 6.02 | Weight: 170

Brent Tate (Canton, Mich.) comes to Bowling Green after playing the last three seasons for the Lincoln Stars of the United States Hockey League. Tate recorded 21 goals and 41 assists in 108 games for Lincoln, while also earning 416 penalty minutes during his career.

Tate ranked second on the team in penalty minutes in his final two seasons, earning 144 minutes in 2010-11, and 205 minutes in 2011-12. Tate finishes his USHL career with a +2 on ice rating.
