Ice Hockey Announces 2012-13 Schedule

The Bowling Green State University ice hockey team announced its 2012-2013 schedule Monday morning, showcasing the final season as a member of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA). The year kicks off with an out of conference game on Oct. 6 against Niagara University, followed by the first home action of the season, an exhibition game against the Ontario Institute of Technology (Oct. 7).
Notable home games include two-game sets against 2012 Frozen Four participants Union College (Oct. 16-17) and Ferris State (Nov. 16-17), Ohio State (Oct. 26-27) and Notre Dame (Dec. 14-15). The Falcons will participate in two home-and-home matchups, welcoming Michigan State (Nov. 3 and Feb. 8) and Western Michigan (Nov. 9 and Jan. 19) to Bowling Green for a single game on two separate weekends.
Bowling Green will once again play Alaska-Fairbanks on the road this year, heading north for a two-game series (Dec. 7-8). Ticket prices will be released on May 28. Season tickets will also go on-sale at that time, with renewals mailed that week. The entire schedule can be found below.
