Bobby Shea Signs With The Reading Royals

READING, Pa.-- The Reading Royals of the East Coast Hockey League, an affiliate of the Washington Capitals, announced the signing of Bobby Shea late Friday night to an Amateur Tryout Agreement. Shea, a Harrison Twp. native, led the Falcons' defensive corps with 20 points this season, scoring four goals and adding 16 assists. Shea led the Falcons with a plus-17 on-ice rating in 2012-13, and paced the Orange and Brown with 56 penalty minutes.
Shea, who was named to the CCHA All-Conference Second Team this season, registered 36 points (9g-27a) and 239 penalty minutes in 139 total collegiate games.
