The Falcons scored a total of five goals over the weekend, earning a split with #10 Miami University to jumpstart its 2014-15 season.
Bowling Green, Ohio-- Every week, the BGSU Athletic Communications Department will post a video of the Falcons' highlights from the previous weekend. Bowling Green opened its 2014-15 season in a home-and-home series against No. 10/11 Miami University. The Falcons scored three goals --including two goals from sophomore forward Kevin Dufour--, and got two assists from freshman defenseman Nolan Valleau to defeat the Redhawks, 3-2, on Friday night. The Falcons out-shot #10 Miami 65-53 in the series, while Tomas Sholl and Tommy Burke split games in the net for the Orange and Brown.
