Annual "Skate with the Falcons" Set For Saturday, November 22

Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University ice hockey team will be hosting its annual "Skate with the Falcons" on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014 following the game at the BGSU Ice Arena. The Falcons will play host to Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) foe Bemidji State on Nov. 21-22, and will host the event after the game on Saturday evening.
Fans who choose to participate can skate on the main ice directly following the game. In addition, the Newlove Pro Shop will be offering discounted rental skates for the event to anyone interested in skating with the members of the Orange and Brown.
Bowling Green are off to a strong start to the 2014-15 campaign. The Falcons currently sit 6-2-1 overall, and 4-1-0 (8 pts) in league standings. The Falcons will take on the Nanooks of Alaska in its second game of their two-game WCHA weekend showdown at the Carlson Center tonight (Nov. 7), beginning at 11:07 p.m. ET. The Falcons will then return to Ohio and take on Ohio State in a home-and-home series in a non-conference weekend clash.
