Ryan Carpenter Signs With San Jose Sharks

Ryan Carpenter will play with the Worcester Sharks, the AHL affiliate of the San Jose Sharks.
WORCESTER, Mass. – The Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League, an affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, announced the signing of Ryan Carpenter Monday (March 24) afternoon. Carpenter, an Oviedo, Fla. native, played in 15 games for the Falcons in the 2013-14 season, compiling eight goals and eight assists for 16 points. The forward averaged 1.07 points-per-game during the stretch, leading Bowling Green to the WCHA Final Five in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Carpenter, who was named to the All-CCHA Second Team in the 2012-13 season, registered 79 career points (37g-42a) in 100 collegiate games as a member of the Bowling Green State University ice hockey program.
