Annual Teddy Bear Toss Set For Friday Night Hockey

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio—An annual fan-favorite at Bowling Green hockey will take place Friday night during first intermission, as the BGSU Athletics department will hold the Teddy Bear Toss in conjunction with Dance Marathon. Last year, BGSU hockey fans donated nearly 100 teddy bears to the Children's Miracle Network.
Fans that are coming out to watch the No. 6 ranked Falcons battle Lake Superior State are encouraged to bring a teddy bear to toss onto the ice. Fans are asked to put their teddy bear in a plastic grocery bag before arrival. As always, fans are encouraged to arrive to the BGSU Ice Arena early for the 7:07 pm puck drop to watch the Orange and Brown battle the Lakers in a WCHA battle.
