Hockey Moves Up Two Spots In Latest USCHO Poll

After a 1-0-1 weekend, Bowling Green inches up to No. 11 in national poll.
USCHO Poll (Jan. 5)
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University ice hockey team is ranked No. 11 is this week's USCHO NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Poll.
Bowling Green – who was ranked No. 13 across the last two polls – earned a 2-2 tie on Jan. 3 at Winterfest against Robert Morris, prior to picking up a 4-1 victory the following evening in Moon Township, Pennsylvania against the Colonials.
The Falcons entered the polls on Nov. 10 and had moved up in five straight polls before staying at the No. 13 slot in the Dec. 15 rankings. The Orange and Brown have yet to move down in any of the USCHO polls throughout the season.
North Dakota tops the rankings this week with Boston University, Harvard, WCHA-foe Minnesota State and Miami rounding out the top-five. Michigan Tech – who is ranked eighth – joins Minnesota State and BGSU in the rankings as WCHA representatives.
The Falcons will return to the BGSU Ice Arena on Jan. 9-10 to take on Alaska. Both hockey games are scheduled to begin at 7:07 p.m.
