Dan DeSalvo Earns Team Leadership Award

Bowling Green, Ohio - Each year, the Bowling Green State University hockey program hands out a variety of postseason awards. For the first time this year, those award winners will be announced with exclusive interviews on BGSUFalcons.com. Listed below are each of the awards and the winners as they are unveiled over the next few weeks.
Today's award is the Dr. Ron Zwierlein Leadership Award, which was presented to senior forward Dan DeSalvo. DeSalvo earned the respect of his teammates and the coaches, which was displayed by his recognition as the captain for 2014-15. DeSalvo became the 70th Falcon to score 100 career points on March 7 when he assisted on a goal during a 2-1 Senior Night victory. For the year, he posted three goals and 17 assists, including one game-winning goal, and 22 blocks.
