Baseball To Hold Walk-On Tryouts Sept. 4

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowing Green State University baseball team and head coach Danny Schmitz will hold an open tryout for any current BGSU student that is interested in walking on to the team. The tryout will be held on Sept. 4 at Steller Field.
Registration will begin at 3:30 p.m. with the tryout taking place at 4 p.m. All students that are trying out should bring their class schedule. Students should also bring proof of a physical, proof of insurance, and any necessary equipment, including a glove, bat, and catcher's gear if you plan to tryout as a catcher.
The Orange and Brown are coming off a third-straight trip to the Mid-American Conference Tournament in 2015, and have won at least 20 games across each of the past 11 seasons.
