Baseball Walk-On Tryouts Moved To Sept. 10

The tryout was originally scheduled for today, but was cancelled due to inclement weather.
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University baseball team has moved the date of walk-on tryouts to Sept. 10 at 4 p.m. The tryout, which will be held at Steller Field, was originally scheduled for today, but was cancelled due to inclement weather.
Registration will begin at 3:30 p.m. and the tryout is open to any current BGSU student that is interested in walking on to the baseball team. All students trying out should bring their class schedule. Students should also bring proof of a physical, proof of insurance, and any necessary equipment, including glove, bat, and catcher's gear if you plan to tryout as a catcher.
The Orange and Brown are coming off a third-straight trip to the Mid-American Conference Tournament in 2015, and have won at least 20 ballgames across each of the past 11 seasons.
