Teddy Bear Toss, Mini Stick Giveaway Among Ice Arena Promotions This Weekend

Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University hockey team, ranked No. 19 in the country, hosts non-conference rival Miami (Ohio) Friday night at the BGSU Ice Arena. In conjunction with Friday night's game, the Athletics Department and the BGSU Ice Arena have announced numerous promotions.

The game will serve as the team's annual Teddy Bear Toss Night, benefiting The Children's Miracle Network through BGSU's Dance Marathon (on Twitter at @dm_bgsu). Bring a teddy bear, wrap it in a bag (bags will be provided at the BGSU Ice Arena) and toss it on the ice at the first intermission.

The Newlove Pro Shop is holding a special mini stick promotion with a qualifying purchase Friday night. Details via the graphic below:

The UCT Winter Hockey Festival takes place Saturday and Sunday in the BGSU Ice Arena. Complete details are available by CLICKING HERE.

The first 500 fans at the game will receive a Tim Horton's coffee cup for the Roll Up The Rim! promotion. Every cup wins either a free cup of coffee or a free doughnut at Tim Horton's (can not be redeemed at BGSU Ice Arena concession stands).
