Chapel Hill, N.C. – With a season-high score of 194.800, the Bowling Green State University gymnastics team picked up two wins Saturday afternoon in Chapel Hill, N.C. The Falcons defeated Pittsburgh and University of North Carolina, but fell to NC State by just .100.
The Falcons trailed the Wolfpack through the first two rotations, but took the lead after the third following a season-high team floor performance by the Orange and Brown. BGSU recorded a 49.100 on the event, which is the team's highest event score of the season. However, NC State was able to retake the lead on the final event, edging out the Falcons in the end.
