Dufour Begins Professional Career with South Carolina Stingrays

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – After four seasons with the Bowling Green hockey program, Kevin Dufour has signed a professional hockey contract with the South Carolina Stingrays of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL).
A native of Quebec City, Quebec, Dufour debuted with the Stingrays on Friday evening and marked his first professional point in a 5-3 win over the Atlanta Gladiators on Saturday night with an assist. By rounding out the weekend with another assist in the 4-1 loss to the Indy Fuel on Sunday, Dufour began his professional career with two assists for two points through his first three games played.
