Falcon Hockey Program Signs Two Players

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green hockey program has signed Chase Danol with a National Letter of Intent in addition to adding Brett Rich in goal. Danol is native of Westland, Mich. and a current senior at Franklin High School, while Rich is Bowling Green, Ohio native.
A left-handed forward, Danol is a futures draft pick of the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders of the USHL, who played for the Oakland Jr. Grizzlies U18 team in the Tier 1 Elite League this past season. Danol posted 1.00 points per game average with 10 goals and 18 assists through 28 games played. In four playoff games, Danol marked one goal and one assist for two points.
As a goaltender with the Bowling Green High School hockey program, Rich was named First Team All-State in his senior season, in addition to appearing in the Ohio Senior All-Star Game. Rich, whose father teaches at Bowling Green State University, was also honored as Bowling Green High School hockey's Team MVP for the 2016-17 campaign, in addition to earning First Team All-Conference accolades.
