BGSU Ranked No. 17 In USCHO Poll

Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University hockey team has been ranked No. 17 in this week's official USCHO poll.
This comes after Bowling Green opened the 2018-19 season with a record of 3-1-0. Their wins over this past week included a 6-2 victory over No. 19 (then No. 18) ranked Western Michigan, and a 6-0 shutout victory over Robert Morris in their home opener.
As of this week, a total of seven Bowling Green Falcons are top 20 in the nation in scoring. Brandon Kruse and Max Johnson are both tied for first place with eight points apiece. Connor Ford sits at fourth place with six points. Stephen Baylis and Cameron Wright are both tied at fifth place with five points each. Lukas Craggs and Alec Rauhauser both sit tied at sixteenth place with four points.
BGSU is one of two WCHA teams in the poll, joining No. 7 Minnesota State.
The Falcons' next game will be home in Slater Family Ice Arena on Tuesday Oct. 23 against No. 19 Western Michigan at 7:37 pm. This will be the second game of a home-and-home series between the Falcons and Broncos.
