COACH TOMICÂ QUOTE
"We are excited and sad at the same time that we are playing our last two home matches this weekend. I want to thank our loyal Falcon fans who have been so supportive and helped us create a true home court advantage, and I hope they can do that again for us on Friday and Saturday. Â
Senior Night is also a bittersweet event because our four seniors will be stepping onto the Stroh Center court in Bowling Green uniforms for the last time in their careers. Ryann, Madeline, Isabel and Kallie invested four years of their lives in helping us build a championship program at BGSU and we will forever be grateful. All four of them are outstanding young women who are great Falcon ambassadors and will be proud Falcon alumnae soon.
We are very familiar with Akron and Buffalo because we have already played them once over the opening MAC weekend. Â Everyone is in the final stretch of the season and everyone is trying to either secure their spot in the MAC Tournament or get the best seed, so everyone will bring their best game every night. Â The key for us is to execute our game plan and for each player to do their job. Â Whenever we did that this year, we were successful and earned a win, which I hope we will do again this week.
SCOUTING THE AKRON ZIPS
• The Akron Zips hosted the Falcons in the James A. Rhoades Arena in the opening weekend of the MAC season. After winning the first set, the Falcons gave up the second and third set, but several Falcon athletes stepped up to rally the Orange and Brown to a win.
