BGSU, Huntington Center Holds Ice Breaker Press Conference

Toledo, Ohio - The Huntington Center and Bowling Green State University, in conjunction with the Hockey Commissioners Association and College Hockey Inc., announced on Oct. 16 that the Ice Breaker Tournament is coming to Northwest Ohio Oct. 11-12, 2019. On Tuesday, the various groups held a press conference to officially kick-off the campaign. Bowling Green, Ohio State, Western Michigan and RIT will compete in next year's season-opening tournament. Three of the four teams slated to compete in the tournament are currently ranked, with Ohio State leading the way at No. 4 in the USCHO national poll, followed by No. 15 Bowling Green and No. 19 Western Michigan. RIT is receiving votes in the poll.
